Sony TV’s Humsafars wraps up shoot
The comeback of Harshad Chopda on television raised a lot of curiosity and excitement. 4 Lions Films that brought Harshad back on Humsafars could not garner much TRPs. But it definitely managed to win hearts. With a heavy heart, viewers will soon bid farewell to the Sony Entertainment Television show.
Humsafars will air its last episode on February 26, with the team getting together to shoot for the final sequence today (February 23).
As for the climax is concerned, like every other tale, this too will be a happy ending with Arzoo (Shivya Pathania) and Sahir (Harshad Chopda) uniting. After some dramatic sequences, the family will be seen letting off all differences and coming together as one for the ‘happily ever after’ ending.
Shared Sehban Azim who plays Zaki on the show, “The show had immense potential and I am sad that it could not receive the success it deserved. I think the love and support we got from viewers was immense. But every show has its fate, so I will look at this as a positive start to something brighter for every one of us. I have received accolades for this show from all corners and I hope good works keeps coming my way like this in the future too!”
Harshad and Shivya remained unavailable to comment.
Producer Gul Khan said, “Though the numbers didn’t support us, the overwhelming response and support of fans made our entire team’s hard work completely worthwhile. I would really like to thank all our fans for keeping our morale high and once again loving our lead couple. Who ever came up with the name ‘Saaz’, it’s beautiful. It has inspired us to look into another possibility for the same.”

February 28, 19:44I still cannot believe Humsafars has come to an end! I always thought Sony T.V. was a horrible network! It has over-due shows such as “CID” and useless storylines such as “Tum Aise Hi Rehna” and “Hum Hain Na,” however they choose to cancel Humsafars. It was the first show that was completely different from the typical serials we see on every network. I truly hope they bring back Saaz or Harshad and Shivya on a new network for that matter. Sony T.V. did not deserve a great show like Humsafars. Bye Sony T.V. I’m finally done with your disappointing network!

February 23, 14:06Hi, this show is the BEST. Sahir and Arzoo wasn’t played better than Harshad and Shivya. Both leads gave their 200 percent to each and every scene to make it perfect. And of-course the rest of team also worked very hard. Why always those things goes away from us who we love a lot? Trp doesn’t matter to me, just see how many fans of SaAz out there in whole world. Me being way far from India in USA only watching this show just because of Harshad and Shivya and their journey being Humsafars as SaAz. I’m very sad saying bye to my HarShiv but I always pray for them to be happy and be successful in the future projects. I also hope they come back for HS season 2 plzzzzz …. love u SaAz-e-dil Humsafars… hope to see you soon…

February 23, 11:35I just want to say that I am immensely sad about this show ending and but I have a deep connection with his show as I have started watching it late but caught up very quickly and was expecting the show to become very successful but I guess the fans expectations and desires are not that important than the trps of show. I love harshad Chopra as sahir and shivya has made an excellent entry into the television industry and has ruled the hearts of many with her performance as arzoo.
This beautiful love story could have taken a better farewell as I and we really want to see them together. I hope the best for the actors in life and just wanted to say my thanks to them for giving us such amazing memories thank you so much.
Also, just as a fan and an admirer of the show I just wish this gets cancelled and somehow it carries on giving us amazing episodes, but obviously this won’t be happening but please do consider a season 2 as I promise u there will be more trp.
